Pyrmont Growers Market
I flew in from Singapore on Saturday morning and went down to the local Growers Market with Judy for breakfast, and a little stocking up. It was grey and overcast but stayed dry for most of the morning – which would have been something of a relief for the stall-holders who have had a series of very wet market days this year. In response the market has changed configuration, to get the stalls off the muddy park and onto the paved section and the timbers of the old wharf (a good plan). The chairs and tables for coffee-drinkers, breakfast-eaters, newspaper-readers, snack-scoffers and general moochers liberally deck the park space.
Rob and Jess came in to meet us, and I sketched while mooching around in wait. 🙂
