bits and pieces in pen and paint

Courbet

Part of the drawing course in “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” by Betty Edwards requires copying a self-portrait by Gustave Courbet. This is quite fun, because for the most part it is drawing with an eraser, as you will see. Here is my effort.

    Very nice! Maybe it’s best if I don’t look up the original, that way it seems perfect no?
